Green Apprentice Program :


Description: Nalane focuses on providing job opportunities for youth, women, and disabled individuals by training them for roles in the operation, management, and maintenance of solar/wind mini-grid plants. This initiative also supports employment in the green economy, including agriculture and clean transportation sectors.

After-School Academic Enrichment Programs:

Description: Nalane organizes after-school programs designed to improve educational outcomes. These initiatives supplement the formal academic curriculum and create a supportive environment for students, integrating activities that focus on renewable energy and climate-smart agriculture.

  • Description: Establishment of central training centers in partnership with institutions like Morgan State University and Johns Hopkins University. These facilities will provide education and hands-on training in climate-smart agriculture and technologies such as aquaponics, agrovoltaics, and electric vehicle maintenance.

Community Nutrition and School Support:


Description: Nalane's initiatives include nutrition programs aimed at improving school exam results by ensuring that students have access to healthy food options. The climate-smart agricultural projects are integrated into urban communities to supply fresh, locally grown produce.
